Prep Time: 30 min.

There is always room for cheese with this delightful Cheddar Gift Platter. It is excellent to serve just as it is, with crackers, or you can include it as part of a festive cheeseboard. If you want to save some time, add a real bow instead of making one out of cucumber. And if you aren’t a fan of cheddar, you can use any hard cheese you like.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Cut half a block of red cheddar into similar-sized slices.

2. Repeat with the white cheddar.

3. Line up the cheeses on a platter interchangeably.

4. Use a mandolin to cut pieces of cucumber thinly for the ribbon. You may need to trim so the pieces aren’t too wide.

5. Arrange the cucumber ribbon in a cross on top of the cheddar gift.

6. To make the bow, take two strips of cucumber. Lay one piece on top of the other at one end, then fold over both sides of the cucumber at opposite ends so they cross over each other.

7. Wrap another piece of cucumber over the middle for the knot.

8. Stick some rosemary twigs into the bow.

9. Serve with crackers or baguette.

I've linked the mandolin I use in my Shop.
