This chocolate-covered kiwi snack is every bit as cute as it is delicious.

The rich, velvety chocolate pairs perfectly with sweet, tangy kiwi, especially when shaped into tasty snails!

These kiwi snails make a healthy after-school treat for you and your kids.

Serve them as they are, top them onto cupcakes or ice cream, or skewer them onto popsicle sticks with your favorite fruits for a fun and colorful fruit kabob recipe.

1. Wash and dry the kiwis.

2. Peel the fruit with a vegetable peeler.

3. Cut two equal-sized slices about 2 cm thick (1 inch).

4. Dry the slices on both sides using a kitchen towel.

5. Melt the dark chocolate.

6. Place the melted chocolate in a piping utensil/bag.

7. Pipe a round dollop for the snail’s face on parchment paper.

8. Now, pipe two circles on top of each other beside the head and then make a tail.

9. Top the circles of chocolate with the kiwi slice.

10. Place two candy eyes on the face.

11. Allow to set.
