Everyone will love this fun American Flag platter, which makes the ultimate party food for your 4th of July celebrations.
If you prefer a patriotic fruit platter, replace the tomatoes with red grapes, red apples, or strawberries, and use canary melon instead of mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 11 grape tomatoes
- 11 cherry tomatoes
- 24 bocconcini (mozzarella balls)
- 20 large blueberries
- sea salt
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- small star-shaped cookie cutter
- canapé sticks
Instructions
1. Halve the grape tomatoes in the center at a slant.

3. Assemble the skewers: first, the bocconcini, the heart-shaped tomatoes, another bocconcini, and lastly, a cherry tomato.
4. Place the skewers on a serving tray, platter, or chopping board. You’ll need 7 skewers on the right side and 4 on the bottom left.

6. Slice the bocconcini and use the star-shaped cookie cutter to make the mozzarella stars.
7. Arrange the stars on top of the blueberries.
8. Sprinkle the skewers with sea salt, and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
9. Serve.
