Ingredients for Chocolate Covered Grapes

  • Grapes: I like to use bright green seedless grapes. Make sure they are unbruised and firm.
  • Dark chocolate: Use a good quality baking chocolate, ideally between 55-70% cocoa solids.
A bunch of green grapes and a small glass bowl with several squares of dark chocolate.

How to Make Chocolate Grapes

  1. Melt the dark chocolate (either in the microwave, a double boiler, or in a small pan on low heat) and dollop melted chocolate into the bottom of each cavity.
  2. Top the cavities with similar sized grapes.
  3. Pipe chocolate on top of each grape.
  4. Remove from the mold when the chocolate has set.

Possible Variations

  • Grapes: Swap for red seedless grapes, raspberries, strawberries, gooseberries, physalis, or blueberries.
  • Chocolate: Use milk or white chocolate.
  • Toppings: Add sprinkles, chopped nuts, or cookie crumbs to the top of the chocolate grapes for extra texture and wow factor.
  • Presentation: Stick a lolly stick or skewer into the grapes and arrange them on a platter like a bouquet.
