These easy Ham and Cheese Pinwheels are the perfect appetizer, not to mention a delicious lunch for one.
To make them, top a tortilla with garlic cream cheese. Top another tortilla with mustard and shredded cheese, and broil this wrap in the oven till golden brown. Place the melted cheese wrap onto the cream cheese wrap. Add ham, arugula, cucumber, and a zesty olive oil dressing, then roll it together.
At this point, you can skip the slicing and enjoy the wrap as a tasty lunch or cut it into pinwheels to share as a snack or appetizer. The tomato and mayo toadstools are a fun detail. You can even add greenage (arugula or basil) to your serving platter for extra wow factor.
I used grated mozzarella for these rolls, but you can use any cheese that melts well: cheddar, brie, gouda, and Swiss cheese, etc.
