Get your kids excited about their vegetables with this charming Spring platter. Alternatively, you can just make a few to add to lunch boxes. Candy eyes can easily be replaced with healthier options, using white hard cheese and olives or sesame seeds.
Ingredients
- carrots
- cucumber
- candy eyes
- carrot cookie cutter
- 250 ml sour cream (1 cup)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dill
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- salt to taste
Instructions
Vegetables instructions:
1. Cut carrots and cucumber into slices.
2. Use the carrot cutter to make the veg cutouts (you can cut by hand, too).
3. Use cucumber peel to make the leafy tops.
4. Make a hole to insert these with a toothpick.
5. Top with eyes.
Dip instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and add salt to taste.
2. Arrange on a platter.
