Kids will love these adorable Chocolate Pretzel Spiders made with only dark chocolate, pretzel sticks, and candy eyes.

This easy recipe is a fun alternative to my pretzel spider webs and can also be made with white or milk chocolate.

Feel free to add a spoon of peanut butter and top it with chocolate so the spider will set properly.

Serve this spooky chocolate pretzel treat at your next Halloween party, stick it in a lunchbox, or use it to top a cupcake for an irresistible snack!

You can make each spider look different, by piping chocolate eyebrows, using rod sprinkles for fangs, curved sprinkles for smiles, and pink disc sprinkles for cheeks.

Ingredients

Instructions

Makes 5.

1. Melt the dark chocolate (or chocolate chips).

2. Place the pretzel stick on parchment paper.

3. Pipe an oval shape of melted chocolate at the base of the pretzel stick and pipe eight curved legs, too.

4. Stick the candy eyes onto the spider.

5. Draw a v-shape on the top of the eyes to make the spider look angry.

6. Insert two rod sprinkles for fangs.

7. Allow to set.

I’ve linked the piping utensil and candy eyes I use in my Shop.
