You only need carrots, hummus, and candy eyes to turn simple carrot slices into spooky ghosts. If you don’t want to use candy eyes, simply carve out eyes with a metal straw!

Spooky Carrots & Hummus

Ingredients 

  • 5 large carrots
  • 100 grams hummus
  • candy eyes

Instructions 

  • Place hummus in a small bowl.
  • Peel the carrots.
  • Slice them lengthwise.
  • Halve each slice, and round the top half with a knife.
  • Trim the bottom half into a zig-zag.
  • Use the metal straw to make the mouth.
  • Top with candy eyes or make holes for eyes with the straw.
  • Use the alphabet cutter to write 'BOO' out of carrot and stick the letters on top of the hummus.
  • Assemble the platter.
