Christmas is made all the more cozy with these delightful Hot Chocolate Snowflakes.
Enjoy them as they are, or top them onto your festive cakes and desserts.
One of my favorite ways is to slide one into hot milk and top with whipped cream. Yum.
Ingredients
- 100 grams white chocolate
- 3 marshmallows
- 12 candy eyes
- 6 curved sprinkles
- piping utensil / bag
- parchment paper
Instructions
Makes 6.
1. Cut the marshmallows so you have two round halves.
2. Melt the white chocolate.
3. Place the chocolate in a piping utensil or bag.
4. Pipe three long intersecting lines of white chocolate.
5. Now, pipe three shorter lines in the middle of the previous ones.
6. Create a v-shape on each of the long ends of white chocolate.
7. Place the marshmallow half in the middle of the snowflake.
8. Top the marshmallow with white chocolate, candy eyes, and a curved sprinkle for the mouth.
9. Allow to set.
10. Once set, add a snowflake to a mug of hot milk, stir, and enjoy.
