Breadsticks are a great snack, but top them with cheese and a sprinkling of chili flakes, and of course, they are instantly better. Serve with guacamole for the ultimate tasty appetizer.

What you need

  • breadsticks
  • shredded cheddar
  • coriander
  • chili flakes
  • parchment paper
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • half a red onion
  • squeeze of lime
  • salt


Breadsticks Instructions: 

1. Turn on the oven to 210℃ (410 ℉)

2. Place the shredded cheese on a tray with parchment paper. Top with a breadstick, ensuring the cheese will cover approximately ¾ of the stick.

3. Make sure the sticks are spaced out, as the cheese will spread when melted.

4. Put the sticks in the hot oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.

5. Use a spatula or fork to fold the cheese over the breadsticks.

6. Allow to cool. Top with coriander.

Guacamole Instructions:

1. Smash the avocados with a fork.

2. Add the garlic and red onion, along with a squeeze of lime.

3. Sprinkle salt to your liking and serve.
