Ingredients

  • 7 slices baguette
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 fresh mozzarella, balls
  • 4 tomatoes, grape
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 21 sesame seeds, black
  • 7 fresh basil

Instructions

  • Slice the baguette.
  • Fry 2-3 tablespoons of butter in a medium-hot pan.
  • Place the bread slices in the hot butter and brown them on both sides. It will take about 2 minutes per side.
  • Remove and allow to cool.
  • Slice the mozzarella.
  • Use the medium round cutter to shape the bunny’s body out of mozzarella and the small round cutter for the face.
  • Make the ears out of mozzarella with the petal cookie cutter or just cut this part by hand.
  • Top the crostini with pesto.
  • Use sesame seeds for the eyes and nose.
  • Cut a grape tomato at a slant and then halve each piece symmetrically.
  • Now match the halves so you have two flat hearts.
  • Place a tomato heart on top of each bunny.
  • Serve.
