Put your melon baller to good use with these colorful platters. You can also place the melon balls on skewers with some basil or in drinks and punch bowls.

1. Use the melon baller to hull the fruit. For the most part, the melon balls won’t actually be balls, but more flat on one side. Just place this side down.

2. Arrange the fruit randomly or in a gradient. Both examples are shown here.

Notes

There will be lots of leftover fruit, so save these bits in a freezer bag to use in your next smoothie, or chop them up and make a mini fruit salad.
