If you love chocolate-covered strawberries (and who doesn't), try these adorable Chocolate Strawberries on a Stick.

With a dark chocolate base and strawberry slices for petals, these sweet blooms are as pretty as they are fun.

This delightful recipe is an excellent alternative to chocolate-dipped strawberries and is easy to make for any occasion.

Perfect for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, or any time you fancy a tasty treat.

On hot Summer days, try them straight out of the freezer for a delicious and refreshing snack.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Melt the dark chocolate.

2. Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil / bag.

3. Place a skewer on parchment paper.

4. Pipe a large chocolate disc on top of the skewer.

5. Cut the top pointy end of a strawberry and place it in the middle of the chocolate disc.

6. Slice the remainder of the strawberry (I used two strawberries to make each flower).

7. Arrange five strawberry slices around the center.

8. Top with a basil leaf.

9. Allow to set.

10. To make the basil chocolate leaves, place basil on parchment paper and pipe a chocolate frame around it. Allow the chocolate to set and arrange the leaves around the flower skewers.
