One of my favorite flavor combinations is this zaatar garlic pizza bread. You can definitely make the pizza dough yourself, but for this version, I used a pre-baked one, which only needs to be baked for a few minutes in an oven or a pan.

Enjoy this garlic bread on its own, with tomato soup or as a side dish.

A close-up of hands pulling apart a grilled cheese sandwich, revealing gooey melted cheese and green pesto inside—delicious bites perfect for adding to your favorite food recipes, with more sandwich pieces blurred in the background.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pre-baked pizza dough
  • 75 grams feta
  • 150 grams shredded mozzarella
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon zaatar

Instructions

  • Melt a knob of butter in a large pan.
  • Place the pre-baked pizza dough in the pan on medium-high heat.
  • Top the dough with garlic, shredded mozzarella and feta.
  • Once the bottom is browned and the pizza dough is baked through, it’s done. I folded mine in half, but you can serve it open-faced too.

Notes

If you don’t have zaatar to hand, you can use ground dried thyme, oregano or sumac.
