These canapés are such a tasty way to wow your guests all year round. You can make seasonal adjustments by replacing the apple with peaches, figs, grapes or strawberries.

What you need


1. Start by rolling the prosciutto into roses.

2. To do this, cut a slice in half lengthwise.

3. Then fold it so it’s 1.5 cm/ 1 inch tall.

4. Roll it tightly around itself to resemble a rose.

5. Cut the apple into cubes.

6. Stack the canapé sticks in the order you prefer using the prosciutto, apple, mozzarella and basil.

7. Top with balsamic glaze, a pinch of sea salt and lemon juice.


You can make these ahead of time, just be sure to drizzle the apple in extra lemon juice and store them in the fridge.
