You only need a few ingredients: ripe cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and creamy mozzarella. Arrange the cheese to look like the Easter Bunny, and your tasty caprese will almost be too cute to eat.

Bunny Caprese Platter

This cherry tomato, mozzarella, ham, and fresh basil bunny platter is perfect for your Easter celebrations.

Ingredients 

  • 3 mozzarella balls
  • 1 slice ham
  • 300 grams cherry tomatoes, mixed colors
  • 9 fresh basil, leaves
  • 1 kalamata olive
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions 

  • Slice the mozzarella cheese.
  • Cut out two mozzarella ears with the medium petal cutter.
  • Shape the remaining slices into round discs with the medium round cutter.
  • Cut out the pink ham belly with the round cutter.
  • Make the inside of the ears using ham and the small petal cutter.
  • Arrange all the mozzarella discs onto a platter (you will need 8 for the body and 6 for the face).
  • Top with the ham details.
  • Halve a kalamata olive and shape the eyes with a metal straw.
  • Trim the back of the olive eyes so they are flat.
  • Shape the nose and nostrils and add to the bunny.
  • Scatter fresh basil leaves underneath the bunny.
  • Arrange the cherry tomatoes (I used red, orange, and yellow).
  • Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Serve.
