The cutest Easter banana line-up, featuring a lamb, an egg, a bunny and an Easter egg. If you want to save time, you can just make one or two for an Easter lunch box.
Ingredients
- bananas
- mango
- dark chocolate
- white chocolate
- white sprinkles
- pink sprinkles
- curved sprinkles
- candy eyes
- piping utensil / bag
- parchment paper
Instructions
1. Melt the white chocolate.
2. Place the chocolate in a piping bag or utensil.
3. Pipe the lamb’s fur, ears and feet onto baking parchment.
4. Place white round sprinkles on the feet and allow to set.
5. Pipe the rabbit’s ears, fur and feet onto parchment paper.
6. Top the feet with pink sprinkles and allow to set.
7. Melt the dark chocolate in the same way as the white (you won’t need much).
8. Pipe the zig-zag for the Easter egg onto parchment paper.
9. Pipe the nose for the lamb and the bunny.
10. Slice the mango and cut an oval-shaped yolk. You can use a small glass.
11. Once the chocolate has set, trim the bananas. You want to keep the top pointy bit intact, which is perfect for the heads.
12. Top the bananas with candy eyes, sprinkles and all the set chocolate details. You can use edible glue to stick all the elements on, but I just use some of the leftover white chocolate. You may need to secure the lamb and bunny ears with the top of a toothpick (just remember to remove these before eating).
