Why not make these Autumn leaf carrots for your Thanksgiving crudité platter? Serve with your favorite dip or whip up this quick dill dip with sour cream. Yum.

Ingredients

  • carrots
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 heaped tsp dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

1. Peel the carrots.

2. Halve them lengthwise if they are particularly long.

3. Cut into slices (about 0.5 cm thick/0.2 inches)

4. Trim each slice into a rounded leaf shape.

5. Cut three v-shapes along both slides.

6. Make a small indent down the middle of the leaf.

7. Mix together the ingredients for the dip.

8. Arrange on a platter and serve.
