Prep Time: 20 min.

This four-cheese garlic bread with za’atar is the epitome of comfort food.

Broil ciabatta slices topped with garlic butter, cream cheese, two types of cheddar, and parmesan in your oven for 2-3 minutes to make the most delicious, crunchy, melted cheese heaven.

Serve the garlic bread as a tasty snack, or enjoy it with your favorite soups and salads all year round.

Try topping the cheese with a slice of tomato and basil for a fresh twist, or add tuna, or jalapenos for some spice.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Slice the ciabatta.

2. Mince two garlic cloves and mix with 50g of softened butter (4 tbsp). This is for seven pieces of garlic bread. If you want to make more, double up the quantities.

3. Spread the garlic butter on the ciabatta slices.

4. Top with a layer of cream cheese.

5. Now, add the shredded white cheddar, red cheddar and parmesan. You may need to press the cheeses down slightly.

6. Broil the garlic bread in a 200℃ hot oven (on the grill setting) until the cheese is bubbly and browned. It will take about 2-3 minutes, but keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.

7. Once they are out of the oven, sprinkle with za’atar and enjoy.
