If you like licorice, you have to try these brooms for Halloween. They can be fiddly, especially if the rope wants to fan out in all directions. Just remember, they don’t have to be perfect to look like brooms. They’ll still be cute, and kids, as well as adults, will adore them.
Ingredients
- licorice rope
- pretzels (sticks)
- candy eyes
- edible glue
Instructions
1. Cut similar length pieces of licorice rope. You’ll need about nine pieces, approximately 5 cm. long (2 inches).
2. You’ll need a slightly longer piece of rope to tie around the others (12 cm /5 inches).
3. Lay the longer piece lengthwise on a hard surface.
4. Place a pretzel stick and the nine pieces on top.
5. Wrap the long piece around it all.
6. Secure with a double knot.
7. Top with eyes (you can use edible glue).
