Get the party started with these fun Party Hat Toasts. They are so festive and delicious, topped with a classic combination of cream cheese and smoked salmon. 

You can add any toppings you like: cucumber, cheddar, avocado, ham, pastrami, brie, tomatoes, etc. Just be sure to trim the sides so the hat shape stays intact. Bring out the bubbly, and get the party started!

Instructions

1. Use a rolling pin to flatten your toast.

2. Trim the bread into party hat shapes. I cut a ‘prototype’ to shape all the other pieces after.

3. Use a large round cookie cutter or a glass to curve the bottom of the toast.

4. Make smoked salmon discs using the small round cookie cutter. You can cut some of the discs in half, too.

5. Top the toast with cream cheese and smoked salmon discs.

6. Add a squeeze of lemon juice.

7. Place fresh dill on top of the hat for the pom pom.

8. Arrange the party hat toasts on a platter and serve.
