Prep Time: 25 min.

I adore watermelon and feta in the Summer and try to eat this delicious combination as often as possible. Instead of making it a salad, try serving it as a fun appetizer. You can top them with balsamic glaze and some sea salt or enjoy them as they are. In any case, I hope they will get you thinking of Summer, too.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Cut the cucumber finely using a vegetable peeler or a mandolin.

2. Slice the watermelon so it’s the same height as the feta.

3. Use the medium round cutter to make discs of watermelon.

4. Now, use the smaller cutter to make a smaller hole in the watermelon, ideally off-center.

5. Make small discs of feta with the small cookie cutter.

6. Insert the feta discs into the watermelon.

7. Halve the cucumber strips.

8. Place the halved strips around the watermelon and feta. Leave some space for a basil leaf.

9. Secure the strip with a toothpick.

10. Arrange on a platter and serve.

Notes

The cookie cutters are part of a set and are linked in my Shop.
