Instructions for the Banana Penguin:

1. Melt the dark chocolate.

2. Add it to a small bowl.

3. Cut a banana where it is the most straight - just over halfway.

4. Dip the tip 2-3 cm (1 inch) into the chocolate.

5. Top with candy eyes and a halved mini orange chocolate button for the beak.

6. Allow to set on parchment paper.

7. Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil.

8. Pipe the butterfly and the buttons.

9. Add the round silver sprinkle in the center of the butterfly.

10. Dollop a small amount of chocolate onto the back of two orange chocolate buttons and attach these to the bottom of the banana.

11. Repeat with the second foot.

Instructions for the Snowman:

1. Melt the dark chocolate and place it in a small bowl.

2. Cut a banana just over halfway.

3. Dip the tip into the chocolate.

4. Allow to set on parchment paper.

5. Place some melted chocolate in a piping utensil or bag.

6. Pipe the buttons and the extra trim around the snowman’s hat.

7. Cut a small slice of carrot.

8. Trim it into a triangle and stick it on the snowman’s face with melted chocolate.

9. Add candy eyes and a curved sprinkle for the mouth (using melted chocolate as glue).

10. Once everything has set, tie a twine scarf around the snowman.

Instructions for Rudolph:

1. Cut a banana just over halfway.

2. Melt some dark chocolate and place it in a big bowl.

3. Rest the banana on a fork and spoon the chocolate over.

4. Tap the excess off, top with candy eyes, the red chocolate button nose, the round sprinkle chocolate feet and ears, and then leave it to set on parchment paper.

5. Pipe the antlers onto parchment paper and stick them on with melted chocolate once they have set.

Instructions for the Gingerbread Man:

1. Cut the banana over halfway across.

2. Melt some dark chocolate and place it in a piping utensil / bag.

3. Pipe the two zig-zag lines and a mustache onto parchment paper and leave to set.

4. Once set, use some melted chocolate to stick the zig-zag details on, as well as the candy eyes and red chocolate buttons.

Notes

I’ve provided the instructions so that if you make only one of the four characters, you will still have a step-by-step guide under each section. However, if you are making all four elements, you don’t have to melt chocolate more than once and can also get all the pipe work done simultaneously.

I've linked the piping utensil in my Shop.
