Perfect for a girl’s birthday party or just a bit of fun, these summer dresses are sure to add an elegant touch to any fruit display.
Ingredients
- 3 slices of cantaloupe
- 1 slice of watermelon
- 1 slice of cucumber
- 1 slice of Galia melon
- 1 mango
- 50 grams white chocolate (orange)
- dress cookie cutters
- piping utensil / bag
- string
- parchment paper
Instructions
Serves 3-5.
1. Slice the fruit so the pieces are somewhat equally thick.
2. Use the cutters to make the different dresses from the various fruit and vegetables.
3. Melt the chocolate.
4. Place the chocolate in a piping utensil /bag and shape the hangers.
5. Allow to set on parchment paper.
6. Use string to make the clotheslines (you may need to secure it with tape).
7. Top with the hangers and arrange the dresses.
Notes
I used two different mangos with different tints of yellow, as well as two cantaloupes. You could use papaya, honeydew, dragonfruit, carrot or avocado. If you have leftover fruit, you can save all these odd-shaped bits in a freezer bag to use in your next smoothie, or you can chop them up and make a mini fruit salad.
