Dark chocolate and cherries are a deliciously good combination. If you haven’t tasted them before, you should try them in the form of these cute little Cherry Notes. The sweet and tart cherry flavor pairs so well with bitter, velvety chocolate. It’s a healthy-ish treat, which can be served just as they are or on top of cakes and ice creams.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Melt the dark chocolate.

2. Put the melted chocolate into a piping utensil / bag.

3. Pipe a round blob of dark chocolate slightly larger than the cherry.

4. Place the cherry on top and allow to set.

5. Top one corner of a small basil leaf with dark chocolate.

6. Stick it onto the top of the stem using the chocolate as glue and leave it to set.

7. Serve.

Notes

To make these even more special, try piping a five-line staff onto your serving plate using melted dark chocolate, and then top with the cherries.

The piping utensil I use is linked in my Shop.
