Let’s make healthy Valentine’s Day bloom appetizers with tomato, cheddar and cucumber. They are delightfully fun and sure to brighten up any platter. Serve them as they are, or top them on salads or crudité boards. They are also perfect for Springtime or Easter.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Slice the cucumber.

2. Use the flower-shaped cutter to form the cucumber flower base.

3. Scoop out the middle of the flower with a mini melon baller.

4. Place a grape tomato on a hard surface.

5. Divide and cut the tomato into six parts, leaving the bottom intact.

6. Scoop out the inside of the tomato with a spoon.

7. Place the tomato bloom on top of the cucumber flower.

8. Use the round cutter to cut cheddar slices into discs.

9. Place a disc in the center of the tomato bloom.

10. Top the cheddar disc with sesame seeds.

11. Insert a canapé stick and serve.
