These patriotic and fun Starry Watermelon slices are ideal to serve at your 4th of July parties!
Arrange the slices on a platter, enjoy them as part of a larger fruit tray, or dip them in melted dark chocolate for a refreshing and sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 3 slices of watermelon
- mini star cookie cutters
- medium star cookie cutters
Instructions
Serves 3-4.
1. Slice the watermelon.
2. Use the star cutter to cut out the stars on the outer diameter (just by the rind).
3. Slice the watermelon into symmetrical pieces.
4. Cut out larger stars in the mid-section of the slices with the medium-sized star cutter.
5. Arrange the slices and star cutouts on a platter.
6. Serve.
