Get in the festive spirit with these tasty turkeys, made with ingredients you are likely to already have at home. You can top them with candy eyes or make them yourself using a metal straw, cheddar and sesame seeds for a healthier alternative.

Instructions

1. Peel and slice the carrot.

2. Use the large petal cutter to cut the feathers, as well as trim off the sides so the feathers can overlap.

3. To make the turkey’s cheddar body use the cheddar slices and the oval cutter.

4. Use the x-shaped cutter to make the feet. Halve them for one set of feet.

5. You can make the wattle (the turkey’s red bit under the beak) with the mini petal cutter. 

6. To make the beak cut a small triangle out of carrot.

7. Assemble the turkey and top it with candy eyes.
