The cutest pair of koalas can be made so easily, using only a few ingredients.
Ingredients
- avocados
- basil
- candy eyes
- petal-shaped cookie cutter
- small round cookie cutter
- heart-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
1. Cut the avocado in half.
2. Slice the bottom side off both halves so the avocado can lie flat. These pieces will be used for the hands, feet, ears, fur patch and nose.
3. Separate the avocado peel from the fruit on the piece of avocado you just cut.
4. Use the round cookie cutter to trim the avocado for the hands and feet. Use it to trim the peel for the ears too. Cut off a side of the ears so they will lay flat against the koala's head.
5. Cut the peel details for the hands and feet with the heart-shaped cookie cutter.
6. Use the petal-shaped cookie cutter for the nose.
7. Trim a piece of the peel for the fur patch.
8. Secure the ears with a toothpick underneath.
9. Now, you can assemble all the elements and top with candy eyes.
10. Finally add a piece of basil for the eucalyptus.
Notes
Do remember to remove the toothpick before eating.
