This impressive swirled carrot family made using peeled carrots and cucumbers makes a stunning Easter or Springtime centerpiece. It's inspired by paper quilling and the perfect work of art to get all your guests talking.
Serve them on a crudité platter with all your favorite veggies and dips. Or top them onto a layered carrot cake for an unforgettable Easter dessert.
Ingredients
- carrots
- cucumber
- candy eyes
- vegetable peeler
Instructions
1. Wash and peel the carrots.
2. Keep creating peels and trim them so they are approximately the same width.
3. Shape the peels into carrots, starting with the outline and working your way in.
4. Make cucumber peels and swirl them into curls to make the carrot tops.
5. Top with candy eyes if you wish.
