If you love easy and delicious Christmas treats, then you must try these delightful (pun intended) dark chocolate and M&M Tangled Christmas lights. Enjoy them as they are, or pipe them on your favorite cookies or fruit (halved apples and pears would work best).
This recipe is adaptable, so feel free to swap the dark chocolate with white or milk chocolate. You can also use pomegranate seeds or blueberries instead of M&Ms.
Ingredients
- dark chocolate
- chocolate buttons
- candy eyes
- piping utensil / bag
- parchment paper
Instructions
1. Melt the dark chocolate.
2. Place the chocolate in a piping utensil or bag.
3. Pipe squiggly shapes onto parchment paper to resemble tangled lights. There’s no right or wrong here, just make a few loops in whichever direction. I kept my lights relatively compact, but you can spread them out, too.
4. Top the colored buttons along the chocolate light.
5. Top with candy eyes.
6. Allow to set.
Notes
The piping utensil I use is linked in my Shop.
