Dark chocolate and fruit is always a good idea. Try this delicious take on your favorite fruit. I’ve used mango here, but you can use any fruit you fancy (pear, apple, grapes, clementines, orange, cherries, etc.).
Ingredients
- 1 mango
- 100 grams dark chocolate
- piping utensil / bag
- parchment paper
Instructions
Serves 2-3.
1. Melt the dark chocolate.
2. Slice the mango along both sides of the stone.
3. Use one half to create the center. Score the flesh with a knife with parallel lines (try to avoid cutting through the skin). Now turn the mango and score the flesh the other way.
4. Invert the mango and place it in the center of your serving plate.
5. Remove the skin from the other half (you can use a peeler).
6. Cut the half into slices.
7. Dab the slices dry with a kitchen towel.
8. Dip half of the slices in the dark chocolate. Place on parchment paper and allow to set.
9. Pour the rest of the melted chocolate into a piping utensil.
10. Make dark chocolate blobs on the remaining half slices. Allow to set.
11. Arrange the platter.
