Prep Time: 30 min.

A fun twist on a classic with these cheddar and tomato tortilla flowers. You can serve them with dip or even top them onto salads.

What you need


1. Top the grated cheese onto the tortillas.

2. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted. (I did two minutes on broil).

3. Allow to cool slightly.

4. Use the heart-shaped cutter to make the tortilla hearts.

5. Slice the tomato.

6. Assemble the flowers with three hearts, a slice of tomato and a basil leaf.

7. Secure with a toothpick.
