The colors of this classic dish are perfect as a festive appetizer for your Christmas parties, especially when made into the shape of a stocking.



1. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them in a sock shape on a big platter or chopping board.

2. Cut the mozzarella and place on top of the tomatoes.

3. Arrange the basil leaves between the mozzarella and the tomatoes.

4. Sprinkle with sea salt (and balsamic glaze if you like).

5. Serve with slices of baguette.
