Prep Time: 30 min.

Try these adorable Snowman crostini with mozzarella and basil for your next Christmas party. Enjoy them as they are, or top them with halved tomato and mayo hats.

1. Slice the baguette.

2. Grill the baguette slices in the oven for 2-3 minutes until browned on both sides.

3. Slice the mozzarella.

4. Use the medium round cutter to make the snowman’s body and the small cutter for the round face.

5. Shape the oval arms out of the mozzarella disc leftovers.

6. Place a basil leaf on the crostini.

7. Top with the snowman’s body and face.

8. Now, you can make a scarf out of carrot/avocado or add the arms.

9. Top with balsamic glaze buttons (use a toothpick or piping utensil /bag).

10. Add candy eyes (you can also make eyes from sesame seeds or cucumber peel).

11. Serve.

Chop up all the leftover mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil to make a delicious side salad - just top with lots of balsamic glaze and olive oil.

I've linked the candy eyes and cookie cutters in my Shop.
