Ice bath meets Halloween chocolate monsters. This technique is so much fun and an excellent activity for kids. Feel free to add any monster details you want: rainbow sprinkles (aka fur), ears, horns, glasses, tongue, ears, hat - you name it!

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Fill a bowl halfway with cold water. Top the rest with ice cubes.

2. Melt the dark chocolate.

3. Add the melted chocolate to a piping utensil or bag.

4. Pipe scribbles directly on top of the ice bath in a rounded shape to make the monsters. Make sure to pipe a bit closer together around the center.

5. Top with candy eyes and long rod sprinkles (or flaked almonds) for teeth.

6. Add a dark chocolate v-shape to the top of the eyes to make the monster look scary.

7. Remove from the ice bath and allow to dry off on a piece of kitchen roll.

Notes

You can make these into lollies using wooden ice lolly sticks. Just hold the stick on the surface of the ice bath and then pipe the monsters on top. It’s perfect to add to a Halloween gift bag.

The piping utensil and candy eyes I use are linked in my Shop.
