I’ve made quite a few variations of skulls over the years for Halloween. They are great to add to healthy platters, lunchboxes, appetizers or even spooky cocktails and mocktails.
Ingredients
- cucumber
- metal straw
- toothpick
Instructions
1. Slice the cucumber.
2. Make a symmetrical indent for the jaw. I used a cookie cutter I had, but you can trim this by hand.
3. Use the metal straw to shape the holes for the eyes.
4. To make the teeth, cut two small v-shapes in the jaw.
5. Make a few turns with a toothpick to make the nose.
6. Serve.
