It comes together in no time, and you only need two simple ingredients and heart-shaped cookie cutters.

I like to top my salad with candy eyes for a kid-friendly touch. However, it’s also great paired with fresh mint, a drizzle of honey, or extra fruit like blackberries, blueberries, cherries, pineapple, raspberries, or oranges.

A Heart Shaped Fruit Platter features watermelon and strawberry slices cut into hearts, each topped with candy eyes.

Pair the salad with tortilla pockets with feta or a ham and cheese salad wrap for a filling lunch. Or, add it to an appetizer or dessert platter alongside goat cheese crostini and layered hummus dip. However you serve this dish, it’s sure to make someone smile.
