Ingredients 

  • 1 cucumber
  • 7 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 150 grams feta
  • 1 teaspoon zaatar
  • 35 fresh basil leaves

Instructions 

  • Use a wide vegetable peeler or mandolin to cut long strips of cucumber.
  • Dry them off with a kitchen towel.
  • Top with cream cheese, feta crumbles and a sprinkle of za’atar.
  • Add four or five leaves of basil next to each other along the top edge of the cucumber.
  • Roll up the strips and secure them with a stick.
  • Fold over the basil leaves so the roll-ups resemble a flower.
