This showstopping Summer Fruit Salad is the ultimate refreshing treat! It’s made with two types of juicy melon, mango, kiwi, and apricot balls, and topped with a zesty honey-lime dressing. All you need is a mini melon baller (and a bit of patience) for the most adorable presentation.

If you’re short on time, that’s not a problem. Simply use a larger melon scoop, or cube all your fresh fruit into similar-sized chunks.

This colorful salad is a delightful option whether you’re craving a delicious snack or dessert. Serve it for breakfast with pancakes or yogurt, or bring it along on a picnic. You can even spoon the fruit salad into an ice cube tray, top with water or lemonade, and serve with your favorite summer cocktails!

Summer Fruit Salad Ingredients
Please be sure to scroll down to the recipe card below for the complete details!
- Galia melon: You only need a few slices. Cover the rest with a paper towel and keep it in the fridge.
- Mango: Use a firm mango with slight give.
- Watermelon: Choose a heavy melon for its size with a large field spot (check the picture below for reference). You also want it to sound hollow when you tap it.
- Apricots: Make sure they are firm and unbruised.

Absolutely! You can make it a few hours ahead and top it with the dressing. Store it covered in the refrigerator and give it a quick mix before serving.
I wouldn’t use bananas, as they tend to get mushy.
Scooping out the fruit balls is a fun activity for kids of all ages.
