How to Make Halloween Spaghetti
- Prepare the sauce: Heat the butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Sauté the onion, add garlic, oregano, and basil. Pour in the canned tomatoes and balsamic glaze. Let the sauce simmer for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. Season well. Mix it until creamy in a blender or use an immersion blender.

Halloween Spaghetti
Ingredients
Tomato Sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium red onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 400 grams canned cherry tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- sea salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
To serve
- 500 grams spaghetti
- 10 bocconcini, halved
- 10 black olives
- fresh basil leaves, to garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta a large saucepan according to the package instructions.
- Fry the butter to a large pan on medium-high heat.
- Top with chopped onion and fry until translucent (2-3 minutes).
- Add chopped garlic, oregano, and basil.
- Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the tomatoes and balsamic glaze. Season well.
- Leave the sauce on medium heat for 5-10 minutes to bubble softly.
- Transfer to a heat safe blender or use an immersion blender.
- Blend until creamy.
- Pour the sauce over cooked pasta.
- Mix well and arrange on a large platter.
- Top with halved mini mozzarella ball and black olive eyes.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve.
