All you need is a piping bag and melted white chocolate, and in no time, you’ll have a delicious Halloween snack!

To make these mummy bars, I used flat chocolate slices we put on bread in Denmark, called “pålægschokolade”. But since these are probably not available to everyone, simply decorate the flat side of any regular chocolate bar.

Top with candy eyes (use various sizes), blood (strawberry jam or red chocolate), and scary teeth (flaked almonds).

Recipe Tip

Swap chocolate bars for granola bars, cookies, biscuits, or Rice Krispies treats.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 100 grams white chocolate
  • 8 chocolate bars
  • 16 candy eyes

Instructions

  • Melt the white chocolate.
  • Pour the chocolate into a small bowl.
  • Dip the top and bottom of the chocolate bars into the melted white chocolate.
  • Stick two candy eyes onto the top section of white chocolate.
  • Lay the bars on parchment paper to set.
  • Place the remaining white chocolate into a piping utensil or bag.
  • Pipe on the bandages. I did this twice, allowing the first bandages to set and adding more to get the layered effect.
  • Allow to set.
  • Trim the edges if necessary and serve.
