Prep Time: 15 min.

This Crinkle Pumpkin Platter is perfect if you're trying to sneak in more healthy treats among all the Halloween candies.

It only takes a few minutes to turn peeled carrots into a fun Halloween-themed plate, and it's great for entertaining kids and adults, both at home or at Halloween parties.

A crinkle cutter will give the carrot slices a fun wavy texture, but if you don't have one, just cut the carrots with a regular knife. The spooky pumpkin effect will still work! Kids of all ages will love to munch on this healthy Halloween snack!

TIP: You can prepare this Crinkle Pumpkin in advance without the candy eyes and store covered in the refrigerator for a day until ready to use. Add the candy eyes at the last minute so the moisture doesn't dissolve them.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Peel the carrots.

2. Cut wavy slices of carrot with the crinkle cutter.

3. Use the peeler to make the cucumber stem and the leaves.

4. Place the cucumber stem at the top of the platter.

5. Arrange the crinkle carrot slices randomly around the stem. Make sure there’s a gap at the top around the stem.

6. Trim the peel for the leaves into three long pieces and wrap it around your finger until it curls slightly.

7. Place the three curled pieces at the top of the pumpkin.

8. Top with candy eyes and serve.
