Check out this delightful Easter nest platter made with carrots, hummus, and cherry tomato chicks. This is a fun way to enjoy vegetables anytime, especially during Springtime.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Peel the carrots.

2. Cut them into julienne either by hand or mandolin /food processor.

3. Put the hummus in a bowl and place in the middle of a plate.

4. Arrange the julienne carrots into a nest shape around the bowl.

5. Add candy eyes onto three cherry tomatoes (you can use edible glue to help them stick).

6. Cut a triangle for the beak out of yellow pepper or yellow cherry tomato.

7. Place the assembled tomato birds onto the hummus and serve.
