Who doesn’t love sausage rolls? Give this classic snack a Halloween makeover with these Zombie Mummy Sausage Rolls! You might want to make a double batch because they’ll disappear quickly.

This super easy snack is sure to be a favorite by kids and adults and a great snack to serve at any Halloween party.

Cut the pizza dough (or ready-rolled puff pastry) into thin strips and wrap the them around the sausages like mummies. Bake them in the oven until golden, and decorate them with edible eyes, ketchup blood, and almond teeth for an extra spooky treat!

Feel free to make each one look slightly different. You can even use different types of sausage, cheese, BBQ sauce, or mustard.

Makes 16.

1. Roll out the pizza dough.

2. Trim the dough into 18 equal-sized rectangles. Cut the pieces only slightly wider than the width of the sausages.

3. Halve the sausages and place one half on each rectangle. Fold the dough over the sausage at the top and the bottom.

5. You’ll need 2 rectangles of pizza dough to trim into strips to wrap around each of the mummies.

6. Bake at 200ºC (400ºF) for 10-12 minutes until slightly browned.

7. Add the candy eyes and the ketchup details when the mummies have cooled down slightly.
