Prep Time: 25 min.

These Halloween licorice bats and kiwi goblins are so fun to serve for kids, either as part of a crudité platter or on their own. If your kids don’t like licorice, you can replace it with Oreos.

Instructions

Licorice bats Instructions:

1. Halve the licorice wheels.

2. Use a round cutter to trim off the corner of one of the halves so that the two licorice wheel halves fit together to resemble bat wings.

3. Melt the dark chocolate.

4. Use a small spoon to blob the chocolate where the two wheel halves fit together.

5. Top with candy eyes and a piece of the chocolate disc for teeth.

6. Allow to set.

Kiwi Goblins Instructions:

1. Halve the kiwi lengthwise.

2. Cut two lines across the top and bottom of the kiwi.

3. Use a peeler to remove the skin between the two sections.

4. Dry the kiwi with a piece of kitchen towel.

5. Top with candy eyes and the chocolate disc for teeth.
