These Chocolate Christmas Trees with dark chocolate and candy are so fun to make with kids over the holidays.
Get your hands on star-shaped candies and mini chocolate buttons, and you are well on your way to creating these tasty no-bake treats, which make a perfect addition to any dessert board.
They are also ideal to top onto cakes or desserts and make a thoughtful homemade gift.

Chocolate Christmas Trees
Ingredients
- 100 grams dark chocolate
- 8 chocolate sticks, or pretzel sticks
- 25 grams mini chocolate buttons
- 8 star candies
- piping utensil / bag
- parchment paper
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate.
- Pour the chocolate into a piping utensil / bag.
- Place the chocolate stick (or pretzel stick) onto parchment paper.
- Pipe melted chocolate from the top of the stick to each side, making a bigger and bigger curve the further down the stick you go. Stop once you have gotten ⅞ of the way, as you want the tree to have a trunk.
- Top with a star-shaped candy and mini chocolate button ‘lights.’
- Allow to set.
