To make them, pipe dark chocolate discs onto parchment paper. Add sprinkles to the outer edge. Once set, place the discs onto strawberries topped with candy eyes and chocolate noses.

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 7 strawberries
  • 150 grams milk chocolate, or dark
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate sprinkles
  • 14 candy eyes

Instructions 

  • Cut the strawberries flat at the leafy end so they can stand upright.
  • Melt the chocolate, and pour it into a piping utensil or bag.
  • Pipe the chocolate in an oval shape onto parchment paper for the hedgehog’s body. Leave a round hole in the center.
  • Top with sprinkles along the perimeter for the quills.
  • Leave to set.
  • Pipe the chocolate nose on the pointy top of the strawberry.
  • Use melted chocolate and a toothpick to stick the candy eyes in place above the nose.
  • Once set, position the hedgehog’s body over the face.
  • Serve.
