Halloween Fruit Snacks

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 2 pears
  • 100 grams white chocolate
  • 2 slices cantaloupe
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 slice watermelon
  • 1 red apple
  • 2 kiwis
  • 4 pretzel sticks
  • 32 round sprinkles
  • 37 candy eyes

Instructions 

Mummy Pears

  • Melt the white chocolate.
  • Place the white chocolate in a piping utensil / bag.
  • Halve the pears and place them on parchment paper.
  • Pipe the chocolate back and forth to mimic the mummy bandages.
  • Top with candy eyes.

Kiwi Aliens

  • Peel the kiwis and halve them lengthwise.
  • Place three candy eyes on top.

Pretzel Bones

  • Melt the white chocolate.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate into a small bowl.
  • Halve the pretzel sticks and dip them into the white chocolate.
  • Once covered in chocolate, tap the excess off and place it on parchment paper.
  • Dip two round sprinkles for each side in chocolate and attach these to one end of the pretzel. Repeat on the other side.
  • Allow to set.

Apple Teeth

  • Cut the apple so you have several small slices.
  • Use some melted white chocolate to pipe teeth on parchment paper.
  • Allow to set and place between the apple slices.

Melon and Mango Ghosts

  • Slice the watermelon, cantaloupe and mango.
  • Use the ghost cutter to shape the ghosts.
  • Dry the fruit with a kitchen towel.
  • Top with candy eyes.
  • Arrange on a platter and serve.

Notes

You can use peanut butter between the Apple Teeth to stick the white chocolate teeth in.
