Made with kiwi, grapes, chocolate buttons, and a few sprinkles, these fruit bunnies come together so quickly and are almost too cute to eat!

They are the perfect addition to your Easter platters, served with my cheese skewers and fruit carrots. They are also great to add to a lunchbox as a fun and nutritious treat.

Recipe Tip

I didn’t peel the kiwis (the skin is edible), but if your kids don’t like the fuzzy texture, be sure to remove the skin before halving the fruit.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 kiwis
  • 8 green grapes
  • 16 candy eyes
  • 8 chocolate buttons, mini
  • 16 white round sprinkles

Instructions

  • Halve the kiwis widthwise. You may need to trim the kiwis first, so they lay flat.
  • Halve the grapes lengthwise.
  • Secure the grape halves into the kiwi with the top of a toothpick. These will be the bunny’s ears.
  • Cut grape slices widthwise for the feet. Top these with white round sprinkles and place them on the bunny.
  • Top with candy eyes and the chocolate button for the nose.

Notes

Be sure to remove the toothpick before eating.
